Game 70 Episode 1; Pilot

[Hosh]

You find yourself slowly waking up in your cozy bed. Who turned on the lights, though? It's way too bright! You sit up on the edge of your bed and look around.

BOOM It's not a bed, it's a couch.

BOOM There are 15 other people sleeping on couches around you in your bedroom.

BOOM It's not your bedroom, it's a Gymnasium.

You wake everyone up with a dramatic scream and they're all just as confused as you are.
Suddenly, a pretty big screen turns on in front of the Gymnasium.


"Good moooorning, everyone! You're probably all wondering how you ended up in this luxurious livingroom, but first, I'll explain why you're here, because that story is a lot more interesting!"

"Youwilllivetherestofyourlivesinsidethisschoolunlessyoukillanotherstudentwhichwillresultinatrialoflifeanddeathwhereyouwillhavetovotewhodunnitandifyouvotetherightculprittheyonlygetexecutedbutifyouvotethewrongonetheneveryonebesidestheculpritwillgetexecutedandtheculpritgetstoleavetheschool."

He looks at your confused faces for a few seconds and continues his story.


"Now that that's out of the way, I will let you know that you're on your way to becoming a reality star! You might have noticed all the cameras in this room, but there are many many more around the building! The entire world is staring at their screens with popcorn as they're watching you playing this exciting game."

"So please welcome your host, the famous Big Bronokuma!"

The screen turns off and you're waiting for something new to appear... After a few seconds, the same bear pops up from behind the Gymnasium stage.


"Here I am! Big Bronokuma! Bronokuma for short. Now let's not waste time and get this game started! Shoo, go kill your friends or something!"

He sits down on the stage and starts playing a game on a tabletlike thing.

[Terumi Himura]

"This... 'Bronokuma' doll is strange. Why am I here? And who are all of you?"

As Terumi looked around, she noticed that most of the people she saw looked like they were roughly her age. The girl, better known as Huntress, became rather concerned.

"W-Wait... I hope nobody brought me here because of--... No, surely, this can be all be talked through. I'm not the type for confrontations -- really, I'm not!"

[Hansbulla]

Kimiko was attempting to completely register the incredibly fast, second block of dialogue that Bronokuma spoke. She was used to hearing some others speak quickly, but that that fast. Turning her attention to the first voice that spoke after, she saw an obviously nervous girl.

"What is this about a controntation? Do you have something to hide?"

[Rinako Tsuji]

"No reason to panic right now. He is only playing with us and is doing one of these Pranks."


*Haiji is pointing at the Cameras*


"Because I highly doubt that a murder will be recorded Live for the audience."

[Misaki]

Hikari looked around her with a worried expression on her face...

"What is going on here? Murder each other? You can't be serious... This has to be some weird social experiment and no one will actually get killed here right...?"

[Sorin Poe]

Come on Krieg, say something encouraging.

Upon hearing his inner voice's suggestion, Krieg yelled as loud as he could.

"All aboard the poop train!"

Eh, close enough.

[Sara Soul]

Sara looked around at the others, worried of what might happen and confused as to how they even got here and if the bear was true to his word.

"Kill someone...? Just to escape...?" She whispered to herself. "And...everyone around the world is watching this...Oh god..."

It was at this moment she really hoped the bear was lying. The situation sounded way to crazy to her to just believe off the bat.

[Terumi Himura]

"Can we please not talk about killing? This situation might be serious. I love a good murder mystery and all, but we're all people. I'm sure none of us want to bring that into reality in any way... right? Listening to this bear doll's ramblings will not help matters."

[Alucard]

Sigmund stared at the bear, angry and grumpy.

"You're messing with the wrong person, bear! I FOUGHT IN A..."

He suddenly stops midsentence. He is breathing heavily as he stares at the floor for a second and mumbles a little.

"War...
*cough*

anyway, NOBODY MESSES WITH COMMANDER KRANK."

[Sara Soul]

Sara looked over at Terumi and sighed.

"Right...It's better to not listen...Not like we can trust a...talking bear, anyways."

[Hosh]

"Hey hey hey! I'm not just some "bear doll", you know! And I'm extremely serious when I'm talking about you murdering eachother! But since you guys can't accept your new lifestyle, I'll have to give you more specific rules so you'll finally understand how superserious I am!"

He puts his tablet away before standing up.

"Rule 1: Students may reside only within the school. Leaving campus is an unacceptable use of time.
Rule 2: "Nighttime" is from 10 pm to 7 am.
Rule 3: Sleeping anywhere other than the dormitory will be seen as sleeping in class and punished accordingly.
Rule 4: With minimal restrictions, you are free to explore Hope's Peak Academy at your discretion.
Rule 5: Violence against your host Bronokuma is strictly prohibited, as is destruction of surveillance cameras.
Rule 6: Anyone who kills a fellow participant and becomes "Blackened" will graduate, unless they are discovered.
Rule 7: If the Blackened gets caught, they will receive Punishment.
Rule 8: If the Blackened manages to get away with murder, two innocent people will receive Punishment! The Blackened may then leave the school.

All these rules can be found on your Student Handbook, which you can find in your pocket. They also contain a map of the building."


"Oh, and by the way, during Daily Life you can apply for Blackened by sending me a PM. So go ahead everyone, send me a message!"

Everyone stared at him silently after that last sentence, confused about what it meant.


"..."

"Don't pay attention to that.. I just said something wrong."

[Maria]

Rize looked around the unknown place that she woke up at. Trapped, eh? Hm...trapped means no CCG and no CCG meant...Rize smiled softly to herself. This would be fun. There were about 15 other people in the room with her. What a nice meal this would turn out to be~

Konda looked around the room, eyeing the other arrivals. 





Nice to met you all! Im Konda, you've probably seen my work. Im sure this is just a publicity stunt for some upcoming film. I did something similar for "Burning Tides!"


Konda laughs and smiles.



There's no reason to worry, lets all introduce ourselves, and think of a way to get through this marketing scheme!

"Hm... If this is a game, maybe its all like a act. Like the killer and victim is given a script. Or maybe we are in VR RPG and if that person died, I can be able to revive a person if I can see how much MP I got."

[Rinako Tsuji]

"Y-You can't be serious!"

As soon as Bronokuma said those words, Haiji Towa spaced out with the other students. He realizes that he is already in a disadvantage, since he is the only one injured in this room.






*sighs*






"Well, since the rules don't say that we have to kill a person in a specific time limit, I assume that we should all stay passive."
"And since we're not allowed to leave this school, I suggest we should look around first."

"Oh I almost forgot to introduce myself: My Name is Haiji Towa, and I'm the SHSL Craftsman. Maybe you heard of me since I own a big Company for Furniture."
